As a senior mental health and family therapist with extensive intersectional clinical experience gained through years of working in both public and private mental health sector,  sexual assault and family violence i have well consolidated understanding of complexity and resources needed to navigate difficult life situations.
In my life as a migrant I had to overcome many barriers: having to re-establish myself personally and professionally, find a sense of connection and meaning in a society culturally different to where I grew up. Now over a quarter of a century later I can say that I embraced that challenge and it helped me develop my cross-cultural lens allowing me multiple facets of different interpretations and diversifying perspectives. This is what I greatly cherish.
